GDT Orthodontic TADs Micro Implants, also known as Temporary Anchorage Devices, are designed to provide stable skeletal anchorage for controlled tooth movement during orthodontic treatment. Placed directly into the jawbone, they remain stable under orthodontic force and function as absolute anchorage, allowing teeth to be moved with elastic or spring traction. The range includes short-neck, standard-neck, wide, cross-head, buccal-shelf, and zygomatic designs in multiple diameters and lengths for different clinical indications. Manufactured from Titanium Grade 5 and supplied in individual sterile tubes within double blister packaging, these micro implants feature a hexagonal head with a hole for fixation and traction, a soft tissue-adapted transmucosal section, and a self-piercing, self-tapping, self-drilling apex. The system is complemented by dedicated placement tools and an orthodontic kit for efficient clinical handling.
