Clinical Use

GDT Implant Cement is produced especially for implant retained crowns and is intended for the temporary cementation of provisional restorations when long term or increased retention is desired. It is designed for today’s implant restorations and supports stable seating with damage free retrievability when restoration removal is needed.

Material and Retention

The cement is made from a tough elastomeric resin that provides secure mechanical retention and an excellent marginal seal. Because retention is mechanical, the crown can be removed without being destroyed. The material flexes under force, absorbs shock, and resists breakdown under daily occlusal stresses.

Handling and Removal

Its dual cure formula allows flexible processing times and a controlled gel phase, making excess cement easier to remove in large pieces without crumbling. The material can also be light cured to speed polymerization and support quick one piece removal of excess cement, helping improve peri implant maintenance.

Fit and Performance

GDT Implant Cement features an extremely low film thickness of 10 microns for accurate seating and close adaptation. The highly cross linked non brittle polymer structure helps create a tight marginal seal and resists washout. The natural opaque shade also helps screen metal abutments when needed.

Product Features

The formula is antibacterial, eugenol free, odorless, and tasteless. It is supplied in an automix syringe with mixing tips and does not require adhesives or primers, supporting a simple and efficient workflow.
