GDT Gingival Dam is a light cured resin barrier developed to protect the gingiva during teeth whitening procedures. It is applied directly to isolate soft tissues and help reduce the risk of contact with bleaching agents during treatment.
Tissue Protection
The material is designed to create a protective barrier over the gingiva, helping shield soft tissue from chemical irritation or damage associated with whitening materials. Its deep blue color improves visibility in the oral field for more controlled placement.
Handling and Removal
GDT Gingival Dam cures quickly with light in about 15 seconds, supporting efficient chairside workflow. After the procedure, the barrier can be removed easily and quickly.
Patient Comfort
The material includes light reflective properties that help direct heat away from the teeth and gingiva, supporting greater patient comfort during treatment. It is intended for professional use and supplied in 5 syringes of 2 g each.
