MAX Basal/Cortical Dental Implant

GDT MAX Implant is a basal and cortical spiral dental implant featuring an Internal Hexagon 2.42mm connection and RBM surface treatment. It is specifically recommended for soft bone while remaining suitable for all bone types. MAX features sharp, deep, and aggressive threads designed for immediate placement without the waiting period for osseointegration or additional augmentation with bone replacement materials. Positioned orthogonally to occlusal forces, the implant achieves remarkable stability in cortical bone and supports even chewing load distribution.

Basal/Cortical Bone Positioning

MAX Implant is engineered for basal and cortical bone positioning and includes a smooth-surface neck to support tissue management. The basal concept enables enhanced cortical engagement, improved durability in compromised bone conditions, and balanced chewing load distribution.

Sharp, Deep, And Aggressive Threads

GDT MAX Implant incorporates sharp, deep, and aggressive threads designed for strong cortical anchorage. The aggressive thread geometry allows immediate placement without waiting for traditional osseointegration periods or additional augmentation with bone replacement materials.

RBM Surface Treatment

RBM stands for Resorbable Blast Media, a surface treatment that creates a rough, hydrophilic implant surface while avoiding residual embedded blast particles or debris. The process blasts the implant with carefully selected hardened particles based on Hydroxyapatite and calcium phosphate formulations, then applies a controlled passivation step that dissolves the blasting media from the surface. By consistently achieving a surface roughness of Ra 1.2 to 1.5, RBM produces a rougher surface compared to traditional acid etching methods. This increased roughness expands surface area and supports stronger implant to bone contact, improving biological fixation and retention characteristics for predictable osseointegration.

Tapered Thread And Tapered Core Body

GDT MAX Implant includes a tapered thread and tapered core body configuration to support excellent primary stability. The tapered geometry improves bone condensation during insertion and contributes to controlled engagement in softer bone types.

Self-Tapping System

MAX Implant includes a self tapping system designed to reduce surgical complexity. The self-tapping capability and minimal drilling requirements support efficient placement while maintaining strong mechanical stability and load distribution.

FAQs

Which indications is the GDT MAX Implant designed for?

GDT MAX Implant is designed for basal and cortical engagement, particularly in cases involving soft bone or compromised bone structure. Its aggressive thread design and cortical positioning concept support immediate placement and stable fixation without the need for additional bone augmentation when clinically appropriate.
The basal/cortical positioning approach allows the implant to anchor in the cortical bone, where density is higher and mechanical stability is improved. This enhances resistance to functional forces and promotes even chewing load distribution.
The MAX Implant incorporates sharp, deep, and aggressive threads engineered for strong cortical engagement. This thread geometry supports immediate placement and reliable mechanical stability from the time of insertion.
The RBM surface treatment creates a rough and hydrophilic implant surface that supports faster and stronger bone integration. This contributes to enhanced dental implant stability and long-term clinical performance.
