OPI One Piece Dental Implant

GDT OPI Implant is a one-piece dental implant specifically designed for narrow ridges and tight spaces. The integrated abutment design eliminates the connection interface found in two-piece systems, increasing mechanical strength and stability. The implant supports a quick and simple one-stage procedure, reducing surgical time and patient trauma while contributing to excellent aesthetic outcomes at final restoration. OPI is widely used for multi-unit restorations with immediate loading in the maxilla and mandible when adequate bone tissue is present. Manufactured from Titanium Grade 5 (Ti-6Al-4V ELI) and finished with SLA surface treatment, the implant supports predictable osseointegration and long-term clinical performance.

Integrated Abutment

GDT OPI Implant features an integrated one-piece structure combining the implant body and abutment into a single unit. The absence of a micro-gap eliminates the implant–abutment interface, increasing mechanical strength and reducing the risk of bacterial infiltration.

Smooth Surface Neck

GDT OPI Implant includes a smooth-surface neck designed for controlled tissue interaction at the coronal region. This smooth neck supports soft tissue management while maintaining a clean transition to the integrated abutment.

Implant Threads

GDT OPI Implant features a single thread design with bone condensing threads and self-tapping capability. This thread geometry supports efficient insertion and enhances primary stability by improving bone engagement during placement.

SLA Surface - Sandblast, Large Grit, Acid-Etch

OPI Implant features an SLA surface treatment. This two step process increases surface roughness on multiple levels: large grit sandblasting creates macro roughness, followed by acid etching that adds micro roughness. By increasing bone to implant contact (BIC) through a surface structure that supports cell attachment, the SLA topography helps osteoblasts adhere and proliferate. This supports faster and more predictable osseointegration, improving implant stability and contributing to long term clinical performance.

Tapered Thread And Tapered Core Body

GDT OPI Implant includes a tapered thread and tapered core body designed for excellent primary stability. This design improves bone condensation during insertion and increases bone-to-implant contact along the implant body.

Narrow Rounded Apex

GDT OPI Implant features a narrow rounded apex designed for easier insertion in areas with limited space, such as laterals and central incisors. This design supports controlled placement when working in tight anatomical zones.

FAQs

Which indications is the GDT OPI One-Piece Implant designed for?
The GDT OPI Implant is designed for narrow ridges and limited mesiodistal spaces where a slim profile is required. Its one-piece structure makes it suitable for one-stage surgical protocols and immediate loading in cases with adequate primary stability.
A one-piece dental implant eliminates the implant–abutment interface, removing the micro-gap present in two-piece systems. This increases mechanical strength, reduces component movement, and simplifies the restorative workflow.
The implant features a bone-condensing thread design with self-tapping capability. This configuration enhances bone engagement during insertion, improves primary stability, and supports controlled placement in narrow anatomical areas.
The SLA surface treatment increases surface roughness at macro and micro levels, enhancing bone-to-implant contact. This promotes predictable osseointegration and supports long-term dental implant stability and clinical success.
